1920s Inspired Dress Transformation

There have been many references to 100 years on from the Roaring 20s this year so far, and I had the perfect opportunity last month to whip up a Jazz Age inspired dress. I went to a Jazz band Valentine's Day evening in London, and a few weeks beforehand, had inherited some good quality clothing that I could use to transform. This dress was originally a long gown for a bigger size, but had some great features I could use and adapt. The finished result might have veered a little away from the 20s guidelines, but it didn't take too long, and of course didn't require lots of darts and fittings!
